| Description: | Extremely detailed model of the Lockheed Martin F-35C, which is an aircraft carrier variant of the jet with a catapult-assist takeoff and barrier-assist recovery system. This long-range stealth-strike aircraft is built for USN carrier operations. The F-35C model also has a larger wingspan than the other two variants, and more robust landing gear for carrier operations. The wingtips are designed to fold, allowing more space in tighter aircraft carrier operations. While the aircraft has the same weight as the F-35A, it possesses a greater internal fuel capacity than the other two variants. Meanwhile, this variant holds the same weaponry as the F-35B model. |
